Cemu botw running at 20fps
WebThis is running on cemu. So my game at first was only running 30 fps and dying in an hour. Found a fix by pressing the 3 dots, going to performance, enabling TDP setting it to 11 watts, then enabling Manual GPU Clock Control, setting it to 1200. After this, 40FPS and dies in 2 hours rather than 1. WebYou can now play the game at ~20fps. To improve this launch Cemu by itself once more and go to Options -> Graphic packs. There you can press a button to download all the community graphic packs at once, then enable FPS++ listed under Mods (as well as anything else that strikes your fancy.) WebI've installed CEMU using EmuDeck and looks to be properly configured however when I run the game in Desktop or Deck mode it runs at around 15-20FPS and without sound when in Deck mode. I've tried a few versions of the game to make sure it wasn't an issue with that but I get the same FPS with either.
Web1 - Join the Beta OS release. this will give you access to the 40hz refresh rate option. limit fps to 40 and set refresh rate to 40hz. 2 - Play the WiiU Version of BOTW. the WiiU version of BOTW performs far better on deck than the switch version, and mods are easier to use. 3 - Don't download CEMU separately if you use EmuDeck. Webyou do but it's a crap shoot at the moment. Most users are experiencing problems with crashes when controllers are plugged in. And vega gpus can't use higher than cemu 1.13.2. Cemu on linux isn't a great experience for a lot of users right now. And I've traditionally been a huge proponent for running cemu on linux.
Webthere are plenty of laptops that can run Cemu and BotW at 60 with no issues. there are even laptops that run proper desktop CPUs. it's just a formfactor.
