WebDec 1, 2024 · Drag fill for auto numbering not working. When I drag to fill cells the auto number is not increasing the numbers but copying the cells I have highlighted. How do I fix this? Thanks. The problem came up [ at least for me] once I changed the region on the windows. After that, the fill handle stop function and the custom list cannot be edited [ window don't popup ].

Just select the first formula, press F2 for edit-mode and then just enter. This usually triggers the autofill function for the whole column again. Mar 30 2024 06:58 PM. So, you need to select G2, then drag down. Not K2. EDIT: Note you can't double click, but click on the bottom right of G2 and drag down.

Drag the cell by holding right mouse button and after dragging till required cell, relese the mouse button > Fill Series. 2. Put 1 in first cell and 2 in second cell.
